VERY, Very Chic-The Norma Jayne Guide To Style.

Have you noticed how some blogs are just soooo commerce without the art? Who can't talk about Guiseppe Zanotti or Christian Louboutin? I mean, right? In my opinion a blog should have a distinct point of view, a focused message of who you are and what you are presenting. Fashion as art in this tough economic time is inspiring, Fashion as big Commerce- not so much. There is a really fine line of how we should be accepting and consuming our over branded and marketed fashion as art.

Enter N. Jayne Seward. Fashion editor for California Apparel News and frequent contributor to Vogue.Co.uk, Surface and many others. Jayne's new blog, Very Very Chic, is indeed Very Very Chic. If you want to find out about all the latest indie and artistic designers you MUST follow Jayne. Not only is Jayne a writer, she is a stylist. Jayne is responsible for all of those dreamy, glam shoots for the CAN. Jayne CAN all right and should CAN all of us and move to Paris.

A writer is a writer, but a stylist/fashion writer, one deadly combination. Hmm, reminds me of someone else I know.

Snob blogging of WANT IT-HATE IT. We are in a time in history, that we can't and shouldn't HAVE any of it, but who says you can't look.
